Curiosity Rover Time Lapse Photos and Mission Update

Below is a self-shot taken by the Mars Curiosity rover, which is actually a compilation of multiple images. You can see two tiny drill holes a couple of feet in front of the rover. The part of the arm which took the images was placed out of view for each image, which is why it is not visible in the final compilation.

A time lapse video has been created using the steady stream of photos sent back to Earth from Mars by the Curiosity rover.
